What is DRONACHARYA-II?

The DRONACHARYA-II exam follows the idea of a mentor who first diagnoses strengths and weaknesses and then guides a student towards the right strategy. Along with scholarship opportunities, it gives a 360° view of performance aligned to goals like JEE (Main/Advanced), NTSE-style reasoning and Olympiads.

Eligibility (Classes Covered)

• Eligible students: Students going to Class VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI & XII (as per the official notice for the year).
• Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT) at offline venues (as notified).

How to Register (Online / Offline)

• Online registration: Register on the official portal and select your preferred centre / slot as available.
• Offline registration: You can also register by visiting a FIITJEE centre (as permitted in the official notification).

Registration Fee & Fee Waiver Incentives

Registration fee and incentives are announced officially each year. As per the brochure, students can also earn registration fee waivers (up to very high percentages) through activities like detailed registration, online aptitude test, attending a seminar/webinar, or a counselling session (as applicable).

• Indicative fee bands (varies by class group & year): Junior classes may have a lower fee; senior classes may have a higher fee.
• Incentives: Waivers are often applied in a multiplicative manner on the remaining fee (as per rules).

For Students going to Class VI, VII & VIII

• Paper 1: I.Q. (Mental ability / higher order thinking skills orientation)
• Paper 2: Science & Mathematics (objective questions moderated to class level)
• Paper 3: Science & Mathematics (Junior Science Olympiad & Mathematical Olympiad orientation)

For Students going to Class IX & X

• Paper 1: I.Q. (Mental ability + JEE orientation)
• Paper 2: Science & Mathematics (NTSE-style science/maths)
• Paper 3: Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (JEE Main/Advanced orientation moderated to class level)
• Paper 4: Mathematics (Mathematical Olympiad orientation)

For Students going to Class XI & XII

• Paper 1: I.Q. (JEE Main & Advanced orientation)
• Paper 2: PCM (Engineering entrance & JEE Main orientation)
• Paper 3: PCM (JEE Advanced orientation)
• Paper 4: Maths / Physics & Astronomy / Chemistry Olympiad orientation (as per pattern)
